  • While discomfort is entirely subjective, Lycon wax boasts a significantly gentler experience compared to traditional waxes. Its low melting point minimises heat discomfort, and its flexible nature adheres to hair, not skin, reducing pulling and pain. Additionally, our skilled waxers employ effective pre- and post-waxing techniques to soothe and minimise any potential discomfort.

  • Results typically last 4-6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle. Regular waxing can even slow down hair growth over time, leading to longer-lasting smoothness.

  • Exfoliate gently the day before to remove dead skin cells and prevent ingrown hairs. Wear loose-fitting clothing you can easily slip out of after the treatment. Avoid applying lotions or oils to the waxing area. If you're on any medications or have any skin conditions, inform your waxer beforehand.

  • Keep the waxed area clean and dry for 24-48 hours to avoid irritation. Wear loose clothing to prevent chafing. Avoid hot baths, saunas, and strenuous exercise for the same period. If you experience any redness or discomfort, apply a soothing aloe vera gel or consult your waxer.
